Volunteer Opportunities
PMI UK Sponsorship / Sales / Marketing
The PMI UK is looking for volunteers in Sponsorship, Sales and Marketing roles.
The scope of these roles includes:
- Identifying new sponsorship / sales / marketing prospects via internet, networking, exhibitions and events
- Maintaining client log
- Providing prospects with information about sponsored events and generally about PMI UK - via email, brochures, telephone calls, setting up and conducting meetings for detailed discussion
- Follow up communication with clients
- Propose new PMI UK services to boost Sales and Marketing
- Participation in news letter, particularly articles regarding sponsorship
- Development of marketing materials (slides / brochures)
- Obtaining testimonials from recent previous sponsors
- Development of press-releases of PMI activities (including jointly with previous / current sponsors)
It is expected that these role will be time consuming due to the nature of establishing and maintaining contact with prospects. The workload will be shared across a number of volunteers each of which will need to engage for a number of days per month.

- Account management or Sales experience (conferences / exhibitions / consulting & training services )
- Cold calling experience
- Strong communication skills
Other desired skills include:
- Marketing experience (branding, PR)
