We are pleased to announce the second annual Earned Value Analysis conference for continental Europe: EVA Europe 2010 (www.eva-europe.eu). The two-day conference, to be held November 24 & 25, 2010 at Het Pand, Ghent (Belgium) will be dedicated totopical issues at the forefront of EVA/EVM practice and research. EVA Europe is organized by an independent team of high level experts in the domain in conjunction with Ghent University, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School, the European Laboratory forParticle Physics (CERN) and the Geneva School of Business Administration (HEG).

EVA Europe is the pivotal event propagating EVA (EVM) Best Practice throughout continental Europe. Over the years, EVA (EVM) has become a vital project management tool. This technique has been widespread in the Anglo-Saxon world for a number ofdecades and continental Europe is increasingly following suit. It is essential that researchers in this field of expertise have a European forum to stimulate interaction on the theme.

Project Controls for Every Body: EVA Europe 2010 will propose a balanced combination of technical presentations, training and an academic track on the project control and performance measurement theme. We hereby invite you to submit an academic paperor a position paper on one of the conference areas to be presented during the practitioner or academic track conference.

The Conference Areas include, but are not limited to:

• Algorithmic design for project scheduling and monitoring

• Methodologies for project monitoring

• Methodologies for project performance measurement

• Methodologies for Earned Value Analysis

• Integration studies between risk analysis and project monitoring

• Successful cases of project management and monitoring

• Comparative studies of EVA software tools

• Time and cost project monitoring

• Time and cost project buffer management

• Optimal allocation of project management reserves

• Project performance stability studies

Speakers can submit short or extended abstracts (see conference website). All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings (USB or booklet).

The DEADLINE for submitting your abstracts is September 4, 2010. For those papers accepted on the basis of the extended abstract, a possibility to submit a full paper will be evaluated by the organizing committee.
