The web site has now been live for almost two months, there have been a few teething problems, but we look to have cured most of those now. One of the main concerns was the event booking process which was requiring duplicate data entry and had too many screens. This should now be much simpler and if you want a little tip, for PMI UK members wanting to book an event, log in to the site first and most of the fields will auto-fill for you.
Some of you have contacted communications@pmi.org.uk saying you were PMI UK Chapter members but you hadn’t received your password this could be for two reasons.
There are currently about 50 PMI UK members with invalid e-mail addresses judging by the undeliverable messages that are returned to the communications in-box. Please could you ensure your details are correct on the PMI Global web site. If your ID is correct, it is a work ID and you still haven't received anything, please contact your e-mail administrator to see if mail from the PMI UK web site is blocked.
If you haven’t explored the members area yet, please take a look, there are two bookstores offering discounted prices, and we hope to get a third soon. There is also the members forum if you wanted to ask a question or start a discussion.
