Honorary PMI UK Chapter Life Membership awarded

Chris Cattaway

25 June 2010

At the June 9th London evening event hosted by Barclays, Nick Lake, Corporate Outreach Director of the PMI UK Chapter awarded Chris Cattaway an Honorary Life membership of the PMI UK Chapter for his contribution to the Chapter.  Chris is about to emigrate to Dunedin, New Zealand where as well as continuing to promote project management in the NGO arena he hopes to get back into more "normal" project management roles.  Chris has been with the PMI since 1997 in New Zealand, the Phillipines and the UK.  He has contributed to the UK Chapter in several capacities, presenting to the IPM Day event in 2008, has done several London events, and has also been part of the London Regional Committee.  (His claim to fame in this role is finding the after event networking venues!!).  Chris already has his first New Zealand speaking engagement lined up in August where he will present to the New Zealand Chapter event.  Chris hopes to be back in the UK several times a year, so we may well see him at a UK regional event.  We wish him well in his new endeavours.
