This award will be given in recognition of outstanding voluntary effort in support of the PMI UK Chapter, whether it be in support of regional events by serving on a Regional Programmes Committee, organising events, UK-wide event organising committee membership, Synergy 2011 support or any other voluntary effort in support of the PMI UK objectives and operations.
Nominations are open to all members of the UK Chapter and a PMI member of good standing, with the exception of any member of the Board of Directors, who will form the Award Committee.
Nominations must be submitted to the Director of Volunteering by email to Volunteer@pmi.org.uk accompanied with a completed Nomination Form, which is attached. Each nomination form requires a Proposer and a Seconder, both of whom must be PMI UK Chapter members.
Nominations are requested from Regional Committee Chairs, Board Members and other active volunteers from the UK Chapter by Friday 25th November 2011 and a winner will be selected during the last Board meeting of the year and prior to the Annual General Meeting.
Selection will be subjective but, should take into account the level of effort put into the role by the member, the quality of the contribution and the positive outcome of the contribution.
The award will be announced at the following AGM. The award will comprise of an all expenses paid trip for the volunteer to the next PMI EMEA Leadership Conference (note:- there will not be a cash equivalent available).
The volunteer may also be accompanied by one or more members of the Board of Directors. An annual trophy will also be presented to the recipient by the President at the AGM.
Full publicity will be given to the award and winners in all PMI UK publications e.g. newsletters.
