Hosting an event can raise the profile of project management in your organisation and your company’s profile in the industry. It’s also a great way to raise your profile and build your network. Our members very much appreciate the events we hold and feedback is that they want more and more local events. Our events are advertised to all members on the PMI UK Chapter web site.
The PMI UK Chapter has Regional Committees that are experienced in managing events at organisation venues: finding speakers, communicating the event, managing bookings and running the event on the day. We ask your company to provide the venue, facilities and suitable refreshments. The size of venues we are looking for is from about 50 people upwards, depending on local travel options and how many members are within reasonable travel distance. Your company colleagues would also be welcome at these events whether or not they were PMI UK Chapter members.
PMI UK regional events are free to members. Last year the PMI UK Chapter organised 40 events up and down the UK and we thank the organisations that very kindly provided the venues that enabled us to do so.
