The Board


	President Nick Lake		Nick leads the UK branch of PMI and is the first point of contact for enquiries from individuals and organisations in the UK. He leads our work to assist organisations to obtain the benefits of PMI in developing their project management competence. He is responsible overall for our strategic plan and activities within the United Kingdom to advance the global mission of PMI and to promote recognition and appreciation of the project management profession with local businesses, educational establishments and professional associations. Nick has been a volunteer since he joined the PMI UK board 1996 as Membership Director.
	Director of Membership John Zachar		John is responsible for developing a strong and enduring membership in the UK and promoting membership of the PMI and the Chapter to individuals and to organisations. He manages the current Chapter Membership Database in conjunction with the PMI Global Operations Centre.
	Director of Professional Development Martin Price		Martin is responsible for developing the awareness in UK of the PMI certification programmes, assisting individual members to obtain certification and assisting organisations to obtain the benefits of PMI towards developing project management competence. He also presents the needs that UK organisations have for certification to PMI. Martin was previously Chair of the London Programmes Committee.
	Director of Programmes Darrel Rogan		Darrel is responsible for developing project management professionalism by providing a quantity of stimulating, high quality programmes.
	Director of Marketing Geraint Evans
	Director of Administration Gaurav Sethi		Gaurav manages the Chapter finances and budget. He oversees the development of our annual budget and monitors expenditures. He ensures the compliance of our UK Company with requirements, working with our accountants and auditors.
	Director of Communications Chris Field		Chris is responsible for all the Chapter communications to members, including our Newsletter, monthly emails and PMI UK web site.

Regional Chairs


	London Programmes Committee Chair John Greenwood		John leads the committee that organizes the PMI meetings in London and hosts the London meetings. The role of Chair for an events committee constantly changes, reflecting the growth of the UK Chapter. Currently it focuses on the numerous administrative tasks for running events professionally with the need to find suitable venues, planning events outside the standard evening format, develop committee roles/responsibilities and managing the budget of hosting events. The London Programmes Committee also led our first International Project Management Day in Basingstoke and assists our development of a Programmes Committee for this area.
	Midlands & North Programmes Committee Chair Chris Field		Chris has recently taken over as leader for the committee that organizes the PMI meetings in the North and West Midlands. Along with a number of other relatively new members of the North West area committee he is keen to promote a vibrant PMI community in the North/West Midlands region.
	Scotland Programmes Committee Chair Nathan Gillies		Nathan is the chairperson for the Scotland Programmes Committee and is responsible for the co-ordination and organising events in Scotland.
	South West Programmes Committee Chair Joan Ward		Joan leads the committee that organizes the PMI meetings in the South West and hosts these meetings.
	South Programmes Committee Chair Dave Edwards		Dave has just taken over the chair for the South Programmes Commitee.

Support Staff


	PMI UK Chapter Support Sandra Newman		Sandra runs the PMI UK Chapter support office providing a contact point for members, prospective members and UK organisations. This includes telephone and email enquiries about PMI and membership. Sandra supports the organizers of Chapter meetings, maintains our volunteer database, typesets the bi-monthly newsletter and provides admin support for all the Chapter Directors. Sandra also manages our daily interactions with advertisers and sponsors.

Newsletter Editor


	PMI UK Chapter Newsletter Editor Irene Bayliss		Irene took on the role of newsletter editor in Feb 2006 and among Irene’s roles is to review the article content of each newsletter having PMI objectives in mind. She also reviews, edits the article submissions and assesses the relevance to the project management community before publication and obtains support in terms of technical accuracy and other sensitivities through coordinating and networking with the PMI Chapter volunteers.
